This pink gingham top was a $4 thrift find, it’s vintage Marshall Fields. I’ve never seen Marshall Fields on a tag before. That and the yellowy aged tag tell me of its vintageness. You know… this post could easily turn into a plug for shopping second-hand. As all are but the trench, sunglasses and clutch. We’ll go with it. I love assimilating the old in with the new. This blouse is the perfect demonstration of how sometimes old is so old that it’s new. I have a little goldmine of second-hand tips & tricks in this primeval Ruby Girl post, Thrifting: the 411. Dates back to August of 2011… definitely ancient in blog years but the same thoughts I would share today!
