Style Talk || Wednesday
A N e w W a y T o S h o p
Last Wednesday, I came home from work, ready to start packing for our Christmas trips. But, I got a little sidetracked. I received a fun little package in the mail from Stitch Fix. 3 dresses, 1 jacket, and 1 set of earrings. All boutique brands. Most were totally on par with my style. And I didn’t pick out a single thing myself.
The lovely stylists at Stitch Fix hand-picked 5 items based on the results of my personal style survey and sent them off to my place. I got to try them on in front of my own mirror and with my wardrobe available to style each piece how I’d actually wear it. Then I sent back what I decided not to keep in a pre-addressed, prepaid-postage bag. Very grateful to Stitch Fix for the opportunity to try it out and hang onto this lovely zigzag sweater dress!
If you are looking for a way to shop without having to spend loads of time surfing the net or standing in lines at malls, Stitch Fix is the way to go. And it was seriously so nice to be able to try the fab pieces on in my own closet. I’m a forgetful little lass and have been known to fall in love with a dress and then get home only to see that I have 5 just like it. Stink. Or I might rule out an edgy top because I think I won’t have any way to wear it. These issues are completely nullified when you get to try the stuff on right there with the rest of your wardrobe.

Such a fashionable casual outfit. I have that very same scarf, and I am obsessed with it 🙂
The zigzag dress is adorable! I loved it the moment I laid eyes on it! Stitch fix is a great idea to shop! I can totally relate to what you said about coming home with regrets of not getting the top or skirt you wanted or getting another dress of the same style and color…

Well said, Lindsey! I agree, and had so much fun trying their services out! I kept a dress as well, and wore it out on New Year's Eve. I want that scarf so bad!
